Who we are

Information we collect

When you send the “Talk to our team” form, we collect what you type into it: your name, work email, company, site, role, country, your timeline, and what you run today. When you request a resource pack, we also record which pack you asked for and the page you asked from.

We do not collect anything else about your visit. The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics.

How we collect information

Only from you, through the form, and only when you choose to send it. Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, requested page, time, browser string) for security and troubleshooting, as any web server does.

How we use your information

To reply to your request, to arrange the call, demo or reference you asked for, to send you the resource pack you requested, and to keep a record of the conversation in our customer system. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

Legal bases

We process form data on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering the request you sent us and, where a contract follows, to take the steps you ask for before entering into it. Access logs are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site sets no cookies and uses no local storage for tracking. Our form server does not set a cookie when the form is sent. The installations map embedded on this site is a frame served by THE EDGE COMPANY from map.theedgecompany.net: it loads no third-party resource and sets no cookie. Data sharing

Form submissions are stored on a form server we operate on a hosting provider in the European Union, and copied into our customer relationship system. We share your data with no one else, except where the law requires it.

International transfers

Your data is stored and processed in the European Union. We do not transfer it outside the European Economic Area.

Data retention

We keep a form submission for as long as the conversation it opened is active, and for no longer than two years after our last contact, unless a contract follows, in which case the data is kept with the contract records. Access logs are kept for a short, fixed period and then deleted.

Data security

Access to the form server and the customer system is limited to the people who need it, over authenticated connections. Our data protection policy is in force, and documentation is available on request.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, to receive it in a portable form, and to object to processing based on our legitimate interest. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali). Write to info@theedgecompany.net and we will answer within the time the law sets.

Automated processing and AI

This site takes no automated decision about you, and no artificial intelligence processes the data you send through it. The BCMS® product itself processes video of airfields and wind farms, not of visitors to this site; what it records and how it is protected is described in the data protection documentation we provide to each operator.

Third-party links

The site links to our corporate site, theedgecompany.net, and to our LinkedIn page. Their privacy policies apply once you leave bcms.ai. The installations map at map.theedgecompany.net is ours, served by THE EDGE COMPANY, and this policy covers it.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. A material change is announced on the page.
